BRIGHT consists 4 girls; NAGI,MI-MI,MEG and NANAKA, all formed in Osaka,Japan.In Osaka, NAGI,MI-MI and MEG registered into Caless vocal and dance school,which other famous artists such as Lead and HINOI team were also formed in this school. MEG was 4 years old when she joined Caless, MI-MI joined when she was 5 and NAGI joined when she was 7. All 3 girls became good childhood friends. NANAKA joined Caless when she was 9 years old.With many singing and dancing lessons along with their path to stardom, R&B and gospel music was introduced and became their most favourite genre.In 2001, NAGI,MI-MI and MEG formed their own group called "GARUZUGURUPU" [Girls Go Super Group]. In 2003, NANAKA befriended and joined the group, therefore the group's name changed into BRIGHT. During this time there has been cross-overs between the members of HINOI team and BRIGHT.Matsumoto Misaki of Paradise GO!GO! used to be with BRIGHT as well. From then, their activies began as they did many performances along with other young pre-artists and street lives.In mid-2005, BRIGHT sang a cover of Naotarou Moriyama's Sakura song and was featured in their old official website.

In mid or late 2006, NAGI and MI-MI graduated from Caless while MEG and NANAKA were still taking lessons. During the year 2006, they are signed with Rhythm Zone; which popular artists such as Koda Kumi,Exile and M-flo are currently signed. BRIGHT performed in the Rhythm Nation Live '06, sang Joyful Joyful from the Sister Act.

On April 2007, BRIGHT released their first e.p called "Brightest e.p", which is a Kyoto-only released and limited to 1000 copies, from then their e.p was sold out.After a while MEG and NANAKA graduated from Caless. On August 2007, BRIGHT released another e.p "Brightest e.p.02", which is now a nationwide release.October 2007, it was announced to BRIGHT that they are finally going to release a mini-album in 2008. Tears of joy sprang out from BRIGHT as they worked harder and look forward to their major debut.
The lyrics of Brightest Star was wrote by Nanaka,Orange by MI-MI,Tears by MEG, Eternal Love and Girls Party Time by Nagi. Most songs are also composed and arranged by Wada Masaya.
From then BRIGHT began writing more songs and will perform many more R&B and Pop songs in the future.
